2012 - Regina P. Etherton and David Horan selected as among the Top 1% Trial Counsel for Medical Malpractice Plaintiffs’ Attorneys for 2012 in Illinois.  A designation as one of The Top 1% Trial Counsel for Medical Malpractice is a prestigious award for which candidates are selected from the leading professionals in Illinois based on MedicalMalpracticeLawyers.org's rigorous 6-point scoring system. Selected on the basis of peer reviews and individual medical malpractice trial performance in the previous 24 months, this designation is limited to less than 1% of professionals, and is an indication to the they are among the elite medical malpractice professionals in Illinois.

2010 - Regina P. Etherton selected for a fellowship in the Litigation Counsel of America—Illinois LCA Fellow Delegation.  The Litigation Counsel of America is an invitation only trial lawyer honorary society representing less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers.  Fellows are selected and invited into fellowship after being evaluated on effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation and trial work, along with ethical reputation.  Regina P. Etherton joins the Illinois delegation comprised of approximately 138 lawyers and judges. 

2008 and 2009.  Regina P. Etherton selected as one of six top female attorneys practicing in the field of Personal Injury Law in the State of Illinois by Leading Lawyers, Law Bulletin Publishing Company and LeadingLawyers.com.  The list of Leading Lawyers is the result of a rigorous selection process.  The lawyers profiled have all been selected by their peers as being among the top lawyers in the State.  Regina P. Etherton is one of only six female personal injury attorneys selected for this honor.  

2008 - Present.  Regina P. Etherton named to the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association Board of Managers.  The Illinois Trial Lawyers Association is a statewide organization whose members are dedicated to preserving trial by jury, the adversary system of justice and security and protection of the rights of those injured. Regina P. Etherton is one of the few attorneys who were selected to act as the Board of Managers for this important organization. 

2007- 2010. Regina P. Etherton selected as one of The American Trial Lawyers Association’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers. Membership into The American Trial Lawyers Association is limited to the Top 100 Trial Lawyers from each state. Membership is obtained through special invitation and careful screening by the American Trial Lawyers Association’s Executive Committee and is extended only to those attorneys who exemplify superior qualifications and an outstanding reputation among their peers, the judiciary, and the public. 

2008 - 2010. Regina P. Etherton selected to the Illinois Super Lawyers list published by Law and Politics. The Super Lawyers list is comprised of outstanding lawyers who have achieved significant peer recognition and a high degree of professional achievement. Nominations are made by judges and other lawyers who have personally observed the lawyer in action. Only five percent of lawyers in each state are selected to the Super Lawyers list.

August 21, 2007 - Lifetime. Regina P. Etherton inducted into THE MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR ADVOCATES FORUM. Members of THE MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR ADVOCATES FORUM must be Lifetime Members of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Regina P. Etherton is one of  three attorney’s in Illinois that are members of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

November 21, 2006. Regina P. Etherton was selected as one of the “500 LEADING PLAINTIFFS’ LAWYERS IN AMERICA” by Lawdragon Magazine and lawdragon.com.  Less than half of 1% of America’s 1.1 million attorneys are accepted into this prestigious group.  Regina P. Etherton was named as one of the top 500 plaintiffs’ lawyers in America in the Lawdragon’s January 2007 publication, which is distributed to 80,000 people.

 

June 16, 2006  - Lifetime. Regina P. Etherton inducted into THE MILLION DOLLAR ADVOCATES FORUM. Regina P. Etherton was accepted into THE MILLION DOLLAR ADVOCATES FORUM. Only 3,000 trial lawyers across the country belong to this group and approximately 100 are from Illinois. Membership is limited to trial attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Each member has demonstrated, in an objective and tangible way, his or her ability to accomplish superior results in complex cases. This nationally recognized group comprises some of the best trial lawyers in the country. It is one of the highest honors for any lawyer to be accepted into this prestigious group.
